Catalina Frederick-Beauchamp by @thebrixtons and @wa-royal-tea will always have a special place in my heart and I'm still catching up, but her and Alfie's arc at Ludgrove was one of my favs bc enemies to lovers is in fact the superior trope but they have a lot of my other favs thrown into their story as well
like I said, I'm still catching up, but Eleanor Rutherford by @trentonsimblr is my final pick bc I adore her and my memory may be shit but recent events have reaffirmed that I want trashman as far away from her as possible thank you very much

this is such a good question that I have such a boring answer for bc Harrison would choose Adeline as his successor regardless of laws and all of that. She is young enough that she still has so much time to learn how to be a good monarch and levelheaded with a good temperament for leadership
why do you think there are so many royalty simblr accounts? (not complaining just curious lol I love them all)
I think a big part of it is that one of the main features of the sims games is essentially playing dress up, a game often associated with princesses. Speaking for myself, my earliest days on the Internet were spent playing Barbie and princess dress up flash games (shoutout to the MyScene girls in particular). Combining that with one of the other main features of the game being creating your own storylines (usually full of drama just for the hell of it if you play anything like I did as a kid and still do tbh) and our societal fascination with the genre of Rich Pretty People Doing Stupid Things and boom! Royal simblr!
what's something you'd like to see more of on royal simblr?
there have been so many good answers to this that I 100% agree with such as more diversity and representation and more small collabs so I won't repeat them, but I think another thing I want to see is more reblogging, asks, and replying. These things have gotten a lot better since the first time I was here a few years ago now, but I think we as a whole are still not as interactive with one another as we could be.
I will be the first to admit I need to get better at this, and speaking for myself I used to think that reblogging other people's posts would be confusing for anyone reading my story, that I didn't want to be intrusive, and that I was afraid it would be considered strange if I did. Getting over this and realizing how many stories I have found through other people reblogging posts has been a lot more fun bc now my mentality is that if I like something, then chances are the people that follow me might like it too.
Asks have also become a lot more common I've noticed and I love that (shoutout to @crownsofesha for some of the best character and worldbuilding asks I've seen in the community) but I still think there is still room to grow. The same can be said for replies on posts as even if you don't have direct feedback or questions, it is still nice to get that deeper engagement from readers to know what they're thinking about certain characters and plotlines that we've worked so hard on for months. Again, I need to do better at this personally, but I think it does make a big difference in motivation and even sparking creativity

possibly irrelevant now but I’m curious: is Thalia pronounced with the th or is the h silent
omg not the irrelevance omg 😭 the th is pronounced though so it’s not like “Tally-a” it’s “Thale-ia”
(side note I am now having an internal crisis bc I go back and forth between “Thale-ia” and “Thall-ia” and can’t figure out which one sounds correct anymore)

Harrison: He hates having to do paperwork which is very unfortunate given he is, you know, the king and all
Victoria: meetings in general bc she hates arguing and that's all that happens in them really
Adeline: public speaking stresses her so much bc she always feels like she sounds like a scared little girl and psyches herself out
Bash: cleaning and specifically unpacking is his mortal enemy
Tilly: homework for sure
