WHY ARE YOU YELLING! I’ll if it means I can survive longer!

be  it  during  a  trial  or  around  the  campfire,  jordi  prefers  keeping  to  himself.  this  philosophy  has  granted  him  something  of  a  reputation  amongst  his  fellow  survivors  —  &  while  he  prefers  opportunist  to  cold  blooded  monster  who  only  does  whatever  benefits  himself,  he  never  cared  what  people  thought  of  him  before  he  found  himself  trapped  in  this  hellhole,  &  quite  frankly,  it  matters  even  less  to  him  now.  (  there  does  come  a  greater  inconvenience  to  it,  since  everyone  seems  to  meet  everyone  at  one  point  or  another  here,  as  far  as  mankind  goes.  survival  is  survival,  though;  connections  are  no  longer  required.  )

the  fixer  grumbles  in  irritation  when  the  too  familiar  flashlight  beam  attempts  to  break  through  the  underbrush,  &  then  grits  his  teeth  when  some  fool  tries  doing  the  same  thing  with  his  own  two  hands.  jordi  had  been  crouching  a  few  feet  away,  gaining  his  bearings  (  or  trying  to  )  before  he  takes  off  in  some  useless direction.  he  decides  within  a  second  that  this  guy  is  no  threat  —  not  in  the  sense  that  he’s  actively  dangerous,  at  least.  ❝  are  you  new?  ❞  he  bites,  less  of  a  legitimate  question  &  more  of  a  subtle  jab.  ❝  keep  your  voice  down  ...  or,  better  yet,  go  holler  somewhere  else.  ❞

“O h, uh... H-hi there!”
