Alrighty then! I’d be happy to tell you about them. So here we got the beans! Lydia Spiderwine Deetz and Lawrence Betelgeuse Shoggoth. Lydia goes by she/they and Lawrence by he/they. Lydia has never had a concept of gender because she’s a demon, and Lawrence is trans masc, but non-binary because he finds society’s gender binary to be ridiculous. They’re just two very epic enby pals.

They’ve know each other for a good few years. Lydia and Lawrence like to hang out and talk about things they’re interest in as well as go out on adventures in the netherworld. They are both more musical based, like my normal asks, and also have a splash of the cartoon timeline in it. Lawrence, is a reflection of my actual self. He is based off of me. Me being Beetlejuice I thought the easiest way to be able do the what if of a swap au is if I reflected on my own life.  Lawrence likes to share Hyperfixations like classic horror and art. Especially Coraline. He shares them a ton with Lydia and she’s honestly living for the spider aesthetic of the other mother cuz well....duh spiders are her thing. But the two of them are basically just big kids.  Lydia looks to be a child, but she’s been the same age for about 600+ years give or take (she is over 1,000 so there is a slot of time where she was actually growing). She’ll probably always be a child. Which is fine with her because she does not have any interests in what she’d call “the maturely boring life of an adult.”  Lawrence, though I will not yet specify where he falls, is neurodivergent. So he honestly is like a big kid. Though he would like to be a bit more mature, he can’t give up his love for more child like things. Also adulting does not treat his attention span kindly. Mans can’t do his taxes without a face to face assistant. He’s stressed. Save him.

Like with my current AMAs, Lydia has a bit of a mix of all Lydia’s. Of course being a swap au I get to pull what they’d all look like in the swap au out of my ass.
