they’re on pretty much the same wavelength when it comes to making jokes and witty comments (evan’s are better received than alistair’s bless him) so they instantly got on 

alistair was genuinely shocked when evan first laughed at his attempts of humour....

.....alistair fell in love first. it was more gradual on evan’s part

that saying, out of all my wardens, those two fell for each other the quickest

evan can heal small cuts with kisses (evan isn’t a great healer but healing magic isn’t foreign to them) 

evan always grabbed alistair’s hand if they brushed whilst walking, they leant on alistair if they were sitting next to each other in the camp

i feel like making accidental contact with the person you like but then like, squeezing their hand and letting go was a quick way of showing affection in the circle and it’s nice for evan to hold someone’s hand that they really like without templars breathing down their neck 

they sit in alistair’s lap whilst reading books/writing their journal 

STAR GAZING

like, evan was stuck in the tower and never saw the night sky in all it’s glory and alistair had all the constellations and their stories drummed into his head when he was little so they spend the bad-darkspawn-nightmare nights laying on the ground together and alistair would tell stories until they fall asleep/dawn comes

alistair never lets evan get up straight away and wrapped his arms around them

it’s the only time he’s the big spoon

the sort of couple that let the dog sleep in the same bed as them

evan lies on top of alistair and the dog kicks him. alistair has grown used to evan’s sleeping but the dog....never gets kicked out no matter how much dreaming they’re doing

alistair doesn’t let them kiss in front of their child the dog

he doesn’t even when they do have kids (2 or 3 not sure yet)
