‘ I’m not so sure about Madeleine Cookie, but as for me, I do indeed know of both connotations. In any sense, it’s an unfortunate thing to be privy to such knowledge when I would have done better off without it, let alone the topic of romance! I’ve decided to write on this response without much of his own commentary.. for a particular reason. ‘

‘ A few years ago, we were sent letters, hand-written, that were all constituting of warm greetings for the installment of the kingdom in its glory. While I did not get too much, nor did I answer much, given my tight schedules and justified priorities, there were a couple that stuck out to me. One was a polite message from a student of mine who had inquired about my past. There are usually much more topics to ask about, I believe. The other, a letter covered in red lettering, and the one by which I’d be awkwardly explained its meaning. “Madespresso get married,” was the saying, repeated without much space for anything else. The PR kept laughing at me, I recall, while I had the inclination to not answer it at all. Have not, ever. It’s not my problem. But they took a shot of my first reaction, anyway! Can you imagine that? ‘

‘ Oh? If I must say, this is quite artistic! Yes, there is a fair bit of artistic prowess being expressed here. The pose is fine, no need to worry—as long as you took a shot at drawing it in the first place, I can give you the room for error. If anything, this was completely unsolicited, and so I do admire the thought behind it. This sort of lettering has a bit of a.. character to it. Reminds me of some applications that show up on Strawberry Crepe Cookie’s console. ‘

‘ Hah. He’s probably just being his usual self. Always the outgoing, amiable sort, that one! I’ve irritated myself dry with him. Wouldn’t say.. whatever that astoundingly unacademic collection of descriptive words is, either. His thoughts on any matter are of no importance to me! Necessarily, I mean. Aside from the fact that I bear little interest, we’ve held to some sort of secret-keeping sense of neutrality. This must be more of his “companion, comrade, and best friend” jargon. I do not care too much for the hijinks. ‘

‘ Also, do not fret about the arrow, or anything else for that matter. There is always much to say! Or not to say. It goes both ways, I believe. ‘

‘ With my utmost certainty, I definitely do find Madeleine Cookie annoying! Really, it is most plausible that I can find irritation with any other cookie on the basis of their cooperation and overall logical sense when concerning such matters, but there is just something so intrinsically frustrating about a cookie whose entire lifestyle and thoughts completely contrast your own! I have no qualms with the fact that he is a paladin, that his role is to face off in the frontlines, or that attention follows him left and right. Instead, I find great issue with how he goes about such things with a face held high, reeling in the presence of an echo chamber so massive, it could fill a coliseum with many persons chanting his name. And he relishes in it! Can it not be so draining, let alone exhausting to contend with? Don’t even get me started on how he spreads his visage everywhere he can, with the amount of signed posters that are distributed with reckless abandon, thanks to the amount of influence he holds. Does a cookie like him even deserve such things? I think not! Ha! He is very annoying! Verily, verily..! ‘

‘ There’s also the way that he smiles when he knows he’s right—I hope that miserly, grime-eating grin gets wiped away as soon as he learns just how much mettle I can deliver. Not to mention, he swings that sword with complete confidence, and then there’s the topic of his hair. Why does it need to glow, too?! Why does everything glow? I can’t be working on a mission with a lightstick that attracts everything in the woods, only for me to get blinded myself! Brain over brawn, I insist! It’s like he just doesn’t understand the specialities of a proper strategy, but proceeds with his own tempo and still wins! Does fate have to bless the highest of ego?! All this makes a joke out of any situation. I can’t believe it, why I even continue to work with him anyway. I’m not in it for anything he is, I believe. At least, I’d hope so. He’s as predictable as a squeaky fiddle, though playing one like him is as easy as counting five on one hand… ‘

But we wear expressions of such mirth on our face that it is simply plausible the asker did not quite intend for that connotation!
