Good. Oscar can’t help but think mentally. After the other leaves, he’ll be able to breathe again. How many times had he been nearly caught on a slip up, only to correct himself at the last possible moment? Even Onyx and Jasper were worried about him at this point, he was acting ‘out of character’, which wasn’t good at all. No, he had to put on this show until the very end.

“So soon?” His words betray his thoughts, his face smiles despite the inward grimace. If there’s one thing he’s good at, it’s acting like everything was okay. “I shall not stop you, of course, should you need to return to your land. Someone like you must have important business to attend to, hm? But maybe not wait as long before your next visit?” He hates how he feels like he HAS to invite Lilia back. He’d rather the old bat go die in a cave somewhere.
