It will never work, and regenerating and reviving after every encounter actually hurts. The PTSD it causes me doesn't help as well.

hm..that’s a difficult one..but to answer your question.I don't think I'd run or even really try to escape.
There was a time when I would have answered without hesitation. Freedom is a rather tempting thing, especially after centuries spent behind walls and under watchful eyes. To walk wherever I pleased, to see the world without escorts or containment procedures... I would be lying if I said the thought never crossed my mind.But the foundation has provided me with something I haven't had for much of my lifetime and that is a purpose.As strange as that may sound. I've spent thousands of years carrying the consequences of a single terrible moment.The harm tied to my existence cannot be undone, and the weight of my past has never truly left me.Yet If I remain here it allows me to help many others, to prevent suffering,then that is a responsibility I accept willingly.
Yet, I do not consider myself eternally bound. If a day came when I could leave, perhaps I would. I think I'd like to see the world again.But for now I believe my place is here.
