Leaning against the bars of the cramped cell, Sam sunk down to the ground. “Yeah, we do,” she mumbled. She was preoccupied with  the lock on the door. “We will, just gimme a second.”

Jack unlocked the door to the house and stepped through the threshhold. He was filthy, his clothes ripped and dirty, and his eyes were dim. The clock read nearly 3am. He had been gone 6 hours without contact. The light on in the kitchen drew him towards the room. "Sam?" He called quietly.
Sam was sitting the the kitchen, nursing a cup of coffee, when she heard the door open. She’d only been home since midnight, but she’d expected Jack to he here. She’d put Katelyn to bed and waited for him to turn up. “In here,” she called back, “Where were you? I was getting worried…” She trailed off as she took in his state. “What happened?”

Character in general: LET ME TELL YOU A THING ABOUT JACK O’NEILL. I love the character, the development, everything. Actually the reason I watched the show, because I saw him in the movie.How they play them: Shhhhhh, this is my favorite Jack. You’re perfect, my dear.The Mun: SHIPPER BUDDY!!!! She puts up with all of my and Sam’s moods, whether it be angst or fluff. We’re little fangirls.

Sweetheart, if you’re reading this, I’m so sorry. I’m sorry that I won’t be there for our little girl, I’m sorry I won’t be there for you, I’m sorry. I thought this might happen, just a feeling. I just hope Katelyn made it, then it’ll be all worth it. I love you both so, so much.
You’ve been my light for the past few years and Katelyn for the past few months. I would’ve done anything for you both. The only regret I have is that I wish I had told you how I felt sooner. Do you know when that was? When you were lost on Endora… It killed me. Three months and I didn’t think I would get you back. Then I did and it was one of the best days of my life. I’m sorry I kept it in for so long. Every time I thought you died or you disappeared, I felt a little piece of myself go with you. Each time you came back, I felt whole again. That’s why I know I love you.
I want you to tell our baby girl how much I loved her, everyday. She was the best thing to happen to me. She’s worth it, always. Take good care of her. I love you and I know that you love me, so I can go happily. Who knows? Maybe I’ll ascend. No matter what, I’ll be watching over you.
