yes omg BSJSHSJH river is such a pretty name and like it kinda suits billy?

i feel like his mother would be really connected to nature and stuff so she’d give him a really cool outdoors-y name lol. but then neil would kinda insist on giving him a “proper” middle name. so neil just starts calling him ‘william’ and ‘billy’ and then it just sticks.

steve accidentally finds out. maybe billy has a box of his mother’s belongings in his car and he’s just going through it with steve. and steve finds those hospital bracelets that they give to newborns and it says “river william hargrove” in blue ink.

steves just like ??? who’s river? are you river???? and billy suddenly gets shy and he’s blushing and shrugging. but steve doesn’t let it go until billy tells him that his mother actually named him river.

so steve becomes obsessed with that name. just thinking of the name ‘river’ makes him smile a little because it’s so perfect for billy. and he starts calling billy “riv” sometimes. or maybe “rio” when they’re being really playful with each other and it always makes billy chuckle.

BDJSHSISHS no but seriously this boy has a pouting superpower or something. he especially uses it on billy because he knows that billy just can’t say no. and even when billy tries to fight it, because he’s stubborn too, steve will still spend the entire night sitting there like:

everytime he does it, billy’s like “okay first of all, fuck you. you can’t keep doing this to me. second of all, you’re adorable and i love you.”

and then it just becomes a normal thing for steve to do around billy. he just randomly juts out his bottom lip and billy always leans in to kiss it, maybe biting it a little.

yes yes yes!!!! steve would definitely beg billy to come with him and billy’s reluctant at first but then steve is like ‘no ones gonna pay attention to us’ and ‘we can drink and smoke cigars!!!!’ and ‘there’s a jacuzzi in one room that no one uses ;))))’ so billy agrees.

and when they first get there, billy’s like..this is what rich people do for fun?????? bc it looks boring. really really boring. and he feels bad that steve has had to do things like this alone since he was a kid. but that doesnt stop him from whining and grumbling like a little kid. and he’s all “you owe me. you better fuck me, stevie.” and steve just elbows him and says, “i’ll make up for it. i promise.”

so they keep fake smiling at the guests for like an hour, awkwardly standing next to each other, trying to be all formal and shit. and billy is starting to forget all about the jacuzzi and the room that no one uses and-

steve grips his hand and is quickly dragging him to that room, and the second the door is closed, he presses their lips together and starts tugging at billy’s jeans. “woah there, pretty boy. what are you doing? what if someone comes in?”

“i keep my promises..and i told you no one uses this room.”
