Here’s a little snippet from the morning of the wedding / getting ready before the ceremony.
A gentle knock sounds on the doorframe, and everyone turns as Glen’s brother in law and Lauren’s husband, Will steps into the room, a warm grin on his face and a small velvet box in hand.
“Special delivery from the groom,” he says, holding up an envelope with your name written across the front in Glen’s unmistakably messy handwriting.
You blink, surprised, as a hush falls over the room.
“Oh no,” your mom says, clutching her tissue tighter. “I’m already emotionally unstable.”
Will laughs. “Don’t worry, he didn’t write a novel. Just a note... and this.”
He crosses the room, careful not to knock over any curling irons or mimosa glasses, and hands you the envelope first.
Then he passes you the box — small and navy, with a subtle gold ribbon tied around it.
“I’ll leave you to it,” Will says, backing toward the door.
You take a breath, then open the envelope.
I know we said no big gestures this morning, but you had to know I wouldn’t make it to the altar without finding some way to say I love you again first.
I’ve been trying to picture you all morning — what you look like up there in our room, robe on, hair half done, probably giving someone a look for stealing your lipstick. I can’t see you, but I feel you.
I keep thinking about the first night you stayed here. You stood barefoot in the kitchen and said, “Wow, this place already feels like home.”
That’s what you’ve done, babe — you turned a house into home, turned my quiet into laughter, turned my life into something I never even knew I was missing.
Today’s just the formality. I’ve been yours for a long time.
But I can't wait to see you walk toward me and know — finally, officially — you get to be mine too.

Hey girl! Curious as to what your thoughts are on Glen being seen with Lily James last night and dating rumors in general. I feel like you are a big Glen blog on this site but I never see you talk about rumors when they pop up so I was just curious what your thoughts are?
I try not to dive too much into Glen’s personal life and who he dates, if he’s dating, etc because at the end of the day it’s not really any of my business. As long as he’s happy and the person he (eventually) dates treats him well then I’m happy for him. I also think he's fairly open and if he wanted people to know he's dating someone he would post about it or we would maybe see it on posts from his family since the Powells are so close. It seemed like he was fairly open about his last serious relationship and there were a lot of pictures of them together so I don't think that would change with a new relationship.
But I also think the dating rumors can sometimes get out of hand, and because of that I try not to interact most of the time. It seems like anytime he’s seen interacting with a woman there’s immediate speculation about whether it’s romantic when in reality I think most of the time it’s not.
Glen comes across as a very social and outgoing person who genuinely enjoys meeting people and building connections. Given that he has his own production company now, those connections are even more valuable if he ever wants to collaborate with someone in the future on a certain project. Plus considering he built his career from the ground up without industry ties or family connections I think networking has played a huge role in his success.
That being said, I also don’t see him as the type to date someone just for publicity. He’s always seemed pretty genuine in interviews, and during the Hit Man and Twisters press last summer he mentioned how fast paced his life is right now and that he doesn’t really have time to put into a relationship. I believe that was an honest statement.
I’m sure when the time is right he’ll start dating again, and when he does I'll be happy for him. But with how much his career has taken off in the last couple of years, I doubt it’s his priority at the moment.
So you admit that you copy other people’s writing?? I mean I knew all of your writing wasn’t original and was just a bad copy but can’t believe you just admitted to it. Maybe try writing YOUR OWN story for once. Maybe you’d get more followers. And maybe pick one fandom. People don’t want to follow someone that writes for a bunch of fandoms. If you’re going to write Glen then don’t write for Marvel or the Pitt. It’s a shame cause I really liked your stuff when Twisters came out but think I might have to go find a new Glen writer. SMDH.
Not that I need to defend or explain myself but just to clarify, being inspired by someone’s writing (especially someone I consider a friend and talk to daily) isn’t the same thing as copying or plagiarism. I always make sure anything I write is my own take or interpretation. I’ve never directly copied anyone.
I write for multiple fandoms because I enjoy them, and that’s not something I’m planning to change. If that’s not your preference, I totally understand, but at the end of the day I’m going to write for characters and fandoms I enjoy.

Hey, thank you so much for checking in. That honestly means a lot. I’m okay, just been juggling a few real life things lately. I lost my job recently, so I’ve been focusing on job hunting and trying to keep my head above water a bit DoorDashing on the side while we are living on just my husband's income right now. Writing’s slowed down because of that, but I am still planning to finish Kinktober! I should have the next piece up later today and hopefully get back into a rhythm of posting daily this week. Hey there! I'm definitely happy to try and help! I myself have kind of been getting stuck for ideas recently (along with working on a new secret project that I'll be announcing in the next few weeks, hopefully. Which is why I haven't been posting as regularly lately)
But here are just some kind of general ideas that maybe can spark an idea for you. I don't have any like eact ideas written down currently for Glen, but hopefully one of these might jump out at you!
Something that focuses on the after of something, not the big event itself. So like after a win (maybe you write that he wins a big award of some kind or has a really successful movie premiere/launch). Or after a failure (like getting the nomination for a Golden Globe but not winning the trophy). What's he like after those moments back at home or at the hotel or in private when the cameras aren't rolling? How does reader support him in those moments, etc.
Another idea I like to play around with is Public vs Private Glen. We all kind of see how he is in front of cameras, in interviews etc. I like to imagine what he's like when he's just at home or when there aren't cameras around. So is he loud and outgoing and extroverted like he is in normal or is he a little quieter in private, etc.
