Sorry for the late reply! If Bonesborough was a human town it'd probably be in some extra-swampy section of Florida - anywhere tucked away, ominous and definitely containing some new species of mosquito. And I don't know about the individual districts, but the town as a whole would be called "Belostown" or some sludge like that, named after their white, puritan, British colonizer.

Luz, what's your opinion on Harry Potter? And do you think the books are good even if the author isn't?
I used to LOVE the books. But, yeah, I can't support anything R*wling writes. And now that I don't like her, I can see the issues. The magic system is basic and never really explored, every time Hermione and someone fight she's seen as the issue, the elves are literally described as enjoying slavery and Hermione is the weirdo for trying to get rid of it...the list goes on.
