Dell was amazed when he heard the team was getting another engie, wouldn’t have through RED had so many to spare after his years of working solo. Not that he was complaining though, Taurie had been loads of help and with this new fella Dell figured he just might start having more free time than he knew what to do with…
The knock on the garage door pulled dell from his worries, and looking around he realized he had actually finished clearing the new workspace about five minutes ago and was just sweeping nothing along the floor.
Placing the broom down and shaking the thoughts from his head Dell came over and hefted the door up, clicking the gate it into to place and greeting the new face with a smile and howdy.
It had been a long journey to get to the new base but John was hopeful about his new team. Or he's trying to be, after the mess of his last one falling apart he is just trying to not get too anxious before he even meets his new teammates.
He'd heard his old pal Taurie was here, but also another Engineer he didn't know. Well he can't be too bad if Taurie likes him right?
With a box under his arm, toolbox in hand and a backpack weighing him down John struggles his way from his Truck to what he's been told is the workshop door.
He really hopes this is the right one.
Knocking on the metal with his fist he starts fidgeting with the goggles on his forehead, and brushing off the invisible dust of his dungerees.
As the metal of the door clicks up out the way he smiles himself at the taller man, feeling himself relax a bit at the man's friendly smile and warm greeting.
"Howdy yourself, I'm John, your new Engineer, glad to be working with you. "
