Edward then takes a deep breath as he tries to explain the whole story with it. “I can try my best to shorten it , but I doubt I would.” he stated. 

“Me and Emmy first met when I was ordered to train the newbie Alchemist in the Military and , well, I didn’t really wanted to because of my journey for the stone. I had too much time on my hands for it and I do not want to waste time training the Alchemist.” he said. 

“The Colonel then told me that ‘its just one Alchemist I need you to Specifically train. I am sure you and her will get along nicely.’” Ed continued. “Of course, I had to agree with the mission for once. I also know that it will probably be easy and I can get it done quickly. I was very wrong.” Ed groaned. 

“God, I will never forget the time we argued. It was horrible let me tell you. She called me ‘Short’ so many times and even other definitions of short as well.” he huffed. “It was annoying as fuck..! I called her a kid because she was getting on my damn nerves. I couldn’t help but call her a kid for now on through out the day and every time I see her around.” He grumbled.

“Though…through out the years she and I became friends when she would be involved in our fights with the Humunculi and other dark Alchemist around. Especially that one time with Scar…Winry was involved in that to.. Unfortunately…Emmy almost got herself killed just to keep him away from me and Alphonse, she was being extremely stupid at that and I , well, I finally had it and I yelled at her. I even slapped her for god sake..” he said, frowning. “god…her face expression…I couldn’t help but…feel guilty and regret… after that happen she refuse to even talk to me and even look at me. She then started to go off on her own and I would never see her again. She went missing for almost a year..”

“Well I wont go in much detail on the promise day, was intense lets just leave it at that for now and for another question.” he said and clear his throat. “After the war was over with the Humunculi, well, everything was peaceful again and I was able to admit to Emmy that , well, I asked her out..or well, almost to a point of asking her to marry me.” he said with a grin. “She blush so much it was cute.” he laughed. 

“I asked her out knowing it will take time for both of us to be comfortable to be engaged to marriage yet, considering I have to go on my long explore I had in the west. When I came back, I mostly spend my time with her to make up the time I should of with Emmy in the past when we became best friends, now were a couple, its amazing.” he smiled. 

“I asked Emmy to marry me when I had the ring with me, I was going to wait and then I went to the bathroom with it in case if I have an idea how to propose to her. I left the box with the ring on the small table next to the tub with my sweater on it to hide it.” he said then flustered red on his cheeks.

“I-I then asked Emmy if she would like to take a bath with me..she said yes of course. We took one hot bath and it was amazingly good you just don’t ever want to get out…” he said. “t-then I held Emmy since she was in front of me, I then decided to propose to her. I-I held her close to my chest as she still is in front of me, her back pressing against my chest, I grabbed the box and I whispered saying that shes beautiful and the shes the woman for me, then I ask if she will marry me and I held the box in front of her with it open showing the ring. she flustered so much and said yes and i was smiling happily than ever.” he smiled.
