I want you to know your art has made enough of an impression on me that my mind manifested a monster for my nightmare in your style 😭 it was actually cool af I'm gonna be honest. they were huge naturally & you can't make direct eye contact with them or it melts your mind or something it was crazy

Just so you know, all your plant ideas that come in via ask are not being ignored, they are just being cultivated in my little mind-garden.
I am actually forcing myself not to design more plants (for now) - as much as I want to.

When do you think the full version of the Monster Garden game will be released?
Hmm honestly hard to tell because it depends on how busy/stressful my days at work get (hard to predict) and right now they definitely are on the busier side. Which means less time to draw or code because I leave work very exhausted xc
But since its writing missing for the most part I doubt it will be much longer. My goal is before October so that I can make a Halloween update and right now I think I'm easily on track for that but we shall see!

why do the plant people have nipples
Good question, anon. It's because I know that ya'll like to latch onto them.
For real though? I have a pet peeve that is missing nipples on characters in anime, and now I can't unsee it even when the subject is not human. So you can also call it a comfort pick of mine.
In lore? They try to mimic humans as close as they can, and that includes the nips. And other bits that I may or may not show one day.
Out of curiosity, are any of the plant boys yanderes? And if some are will it be something added to the game’s storyline?
The goal is to add many different character types so I definitely can see myself adding one at some point! But I can't promise it'll be great because I don't usually write that specific type xD The game doesn't have a overarching storyline per se. Each plant has their own growth and character arc and that will remain the focus.
(Also anon you made me realize I accidentally swapped yandere and tsundere on my art before...woopsies. It now forever lives wrong on bsky and x.)
Question, did you add the tea cause someone (forgot the name) kept making comments about taking your ocs on tea party dates? If so, props to them for such an influence and it's nice you added it for them
Yup, because they kept bringing it up and it got my brain working x'D Now I can decide which plants like tea, or not, or just generally like being given foods or drinks.
