Yay! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks we need more of these fics! I am a huge fan of these types of movies - being a teen in the late 90's/early 2000s means I could relate to movies like 10 Things I Hate About You (FYI, I was basically Kat in hs, just a bit more goth) and Can't Hardly Wait. They are some of my favs, even to this day.

I have a rough idea of what I want to do but I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any!

You know Nonnie, I've honestly been really wanting to write a ROMY fic but every time I start, I get super self-conscious of it and think:

"They'll hate it" or "It's too AU for an X-Men fanfic"

Or then there are just times I was afraid I'd be crucified just writing their accents alone! Haha!

Also, we know Sabrina is supposed to be back, which is probably how they fix all the timelines and get everything back to normal.

Does make me wonder something: Tabitha said Hiram's bed bomb was a fixed moment in time, right? (*Okay, I have been corrected on that, she lied to him about that point*).

If so, does that mean that Tabitha (with Sabrina's help) could go stop the first bomb from exploding? Yes, it would mean both Vale and Dale 2.0 would cease to exist but what if destroying the alt-realities is the only way to stop Percival?

Actually, yes there will be. I have so many more ideas for this version of Bughead and I definitely want to share more of their story with you guys.

I know I kinda left it hanging with the birth of their child and honestly, I think the reason I haven't written anything else yet is (because this story is so timeline specific) that I wasn't sure how to handle the whole 2020/covid/pandemic situation in the story.

Like, do I include it and write it into the story in real-time, do I ignore it (which I kinda feel would be disrespectful), or do I skip past all of it and just show bits of it in flashbacks? Maybe you guys can give me some feedback on that aspect? Which would you rather see: closer to reality or not at all?

Hello nonnies, I figured I'd answer both of these in one!

I'm so glad that you guys have enjoyed reading Five Years as much as I have had writing it. It's absolutely one of my favorite things I have written. I will be continuing it, and the final chapter is almost complete. (I may or may not have ideas for a sequel buuuut not sure if I am gonna go there yet or not).

Now, for a little transparency: I just got back into writing again after a horrible 2021. Between my father battling stage 3 pancreatic cancer and my own battle with cancer at the same time, it stressed me to the point of writers block and just all out mental fatigue.

Things had been better the last few months, and I got inspired to write some, but the last month things took a turn.

My husband has photosensitive epilepsy and he had been having grand mal seizures every two months. Since Dec 30th, he has had 3 (two of which happened 2 days ago). He is struggling physically and I am having to take care of him, my kids, our 3 dogs and 2 cats, all while being disabled myself. I have been taking the last few weeks off until we can get him more testing and possibly in to see an epilepsy specialist.

I promise, as soon as things calm down, I will have the last chapter out for you guys. Thank you for being so patient with me. It means alot.

I hope you like what I have planned next! I got some twists and turns (and lots o sexy time) planned in the next few chapters! I'm especially excited to see the reactions to the next one. It's gonna be a good one 😈
