I have some things about your OC, Anna that I wanna point out. I feel like her personality and how she acts wouldn't realistically fit a special forces soldier. She should be more serious.
Number one: Annabelle's core is that she's comedic relief/rarely takes things seriously to cope. I know a few military guys who can confirm that having someone who can just be silly/funny when shit is going down boosts morale and plus-
..she's a person?
Look, if you want a fem OC that's more serious and badass, there are tons of girls I can recommend to you.
@welldonekhushi 's Katya and Scarlet (who mind you, is pretty silly too.) @sleepyconfusedpotato 's Jade. @pricescigar and Elvira.
@revnah1406 's Sparrow. Joy, Jane, Jessica, Anyone created by @mctvsh !
She's actually going through her more *serious* arcs in the present. I've got alot to draw and catch up on. But thanks for commenting, I'd appreciate it off ANON next time :)
So I'm a fan, and I just want to say...I don't think I like the direction you might be going with your ocs. It's getting really dark and I thought Bellegraves was a cute ship- but why would you kill the love from that? I don't understand. Isn't shipping supposed to be healthy?
I'm not in an emotional space where I can answer this in the way I wish I could but Jesus christ how many times do I have to say this- Its not a love story. He's a part of her story, but their love isn't GOOD. Conservative, controlling men GET OFF on the idea of putting independent "liberal" women down and Anna's story is one of going from a person who's given herself to her family, to her team to everything and rarely getting anything good back, to gradually waking up and taking charge from what shes been given. She's going to bounce back and that includes going against her abuser.
Look, once I started putting it together, it became undeniable: Phillip in the context I write him in, would not be a healthy partner. There's no redemption strong enough for him to make up for what he did to Anna in the context of her being in the 141 AND because of the person she is: immigrant, POC with emotional vulnerability.
I'm sorry that Bellegraves isn't a clean ship. It never was. I barely personally ship it anymore because context and Anna's story cannot be happy if he is in it. This was the natural way it went for me.
Talofa Appl! Really miss you!
I’m just curious about Anna interacting with an OC of mine! (IF you want to answer this. If not then just ignore this.)
Since Anna is like dating (or married) with Graves. How would she feel about meeting his sister?
Callie Graves!
Lieutenant Callie “Snipe” Graves actually!
She’s just like her brother of having those cocky attitude. And also have the same mind field goal of getting whatever these two WANTS.
Philip Graves is like an idol for Callie. Always following his footsteps of being the best of the best.
And since Callie heard about her brother dating Anna. She has no grudge against her. Seeing her brother happy makes her happy. And she may have helped her older brother out to know of where his little jewel went whenever or wherever she goes. Spying on her is one of the thing that Graves need.
So how does Anna feel of meeting Callie?
Love ya pele! 😘💖
I'm gonna be real? I do not think Callie and Anna would get along.
I think its depending on what version of Anna she meets (Gremlin or Shadow!Anna) Anna is either blindly in love with Graves and is super blind to red flags. If they'd met before she joined the 141 or pre betrayal, I think that is the only time they'd be friends.
Post "death" She's angry at him. Very angry. A person she'd worked with and trusted "died" after betraying her and her friends. The Shadow Company and any associates, his SISTER especially wouldn't be a friend to her. If Callie "knew", Anna would not forgive her.
Shadow!Anna/Queen of Hearts Anna (MW3) is numb. She's deep into his manipulation, but she can't leave even if she knows. They would not be friends. Phillip promised her a good life for her son if she works under him and "keeps" her. By this time she's like a simmering kettle, only a matter of time before the top blows out, and even if she's not angry yet, she's taking it out on anyone below her- Callie included. As Phillip's reluctant second in command they'd clash alot over her authority, and I think she would only see Callie as another extension of Phillip.
By the time 2024 rolls around, Anna is already a seasoned leader for the SC, with a reputation for flying off the hinges and she is CONSTANTLY talking down to Phillip since shes both "doing the dirty work" for him. Depending on Canon or ACES, in ACES Phillip takes a break from the field to work on a political career...And Anna is left to run the Company. There's a general resentment either way, because by now she's like "this is purely contractual, there is no love on my end." And she makes this harshly clear. As "Acting Commander" she's pretty much found her voice as a leader, and by now she is fully aware of what Graves did to keep her around. If she catches Callie snooping in "her business" that girl is having her head repeatedly smashed into the table before she realizes who it even is.
Anna's character has reached a certain level of paranoia and anger towards anything associated with the company. She's "engaged to him" the same way and intern is promised a job.
Anna, as of 2023, can barely stand one Graves, what more another?
WHERE ARE THE ZAKHAEV TWINSS😭😭I miss them😣
in the wise words of Cody Rhodes, fishing by the Alaskan Archipelago

A very Scarly thumbs up to you, Apple fam! ♡
I raise you, MW19 Anna with a rocket launcher!
Not asking to be rude buuuut, if you're a Graves fan, why do you write him to be so manipulative and toxic? wouldn't you want him to be good to your OC?
That is a good question, actually!
I love Phillip. He's charming, confident and a major part of his personality is his constant control over whatever situation he's in. If anything that manipulation and disarming charisma is PART of why people gravitate towards him.
He hurt and betrayed people he was working with- all for the sake of orders.
He's loyal to who knows what extent and a businessman before anything.
The thing about Graves and Anna, is that he isn't always the toxic, manipulative guy I've portrayed him as so far. Sometimes, and honestly most of the time, he can be so sweet to her.
But the times I write about when that sweetness is either used against her or twisted for his own benefit- those are major turning points in the story, and their story in particular.
I don't doubt that Graves wouldn't be a good lover or person- but I wouldn't put it past him to take advantage of things like age gaps, maturity or even his rank to sort of hold over someone if he wasn't getting it his way normally. Like I said, Graves seems the type to love being in control of his situations, and without even noticing it- the situations of others.
TLDR: Yeah, Graves could be a good guy to love, but would he really? Probably not.
Any more trivia or fanart on the Zakhaev twins or there mother? Not trying to rush you take your time :) also I would like to know about there relationship between there father and step mother
I'm working on an Oksana piece actually! Not finished yet but I'm working on it.
(taken from my Instagram story lol)
As for the twins' relationship with their father...it's a bit complicated. Nikita is favored because of his stronger personality and what Viktor sees as proper leadership, and he generally tries to "toughen up" the meeker Nikolay, (canonically fed his allergic son seafood in an effort to get him over his allergy..) and he sort of pushes him aside. It gives Makarov an opportunity to mentor Kolya more, and we all know how that ended up...
As for their stepmother, Yulia... She kind of tolerates them and is generally nice and polite, but nothing more. She does however hate their mother, which can be complicated as they're massive mama's boys through and through. Nikita had actually almost fought her over something she said about his mother offhand, and Viktor had to calm him down.
After Viktor dies, they sort of get closer to Yulia, sort of seeing her as an aunt and eventually another maternal figure when Oksana dies. Yulia sees the twins as the last remaining parts of her husband, as do the twins to her.
Viktor as a father wasn't bad necessarily. He was a bit absent because of his work, and he did have a bit of a traditional view on how his son's should be raised (Oksana and him did argue over what religion they'd grow up in) but he loved them both in his own way.
Nikita has a much more positive view of his father, seeing him as a mentor and someone to live up to next to Makarov.
Nikolay...Is complicated. He sees his father as his first bully, first obstacle, and first person to prove wrong.
