I recommend by the type of CE effects as most are generic card type boosts. The ones in bold are good to work towards. Everything else is eventually you’ll get to it if you like that Servant enough to use.

Heals and Max Health Examples:

Medea Lily, Martha (30% more party healing and they do stack) Party healing is always welcome especially in sustain challenges.

Touta, Enkidu, Liz OG that provide healing every turn (500 HP). Out of these I like Enkidu because he can perform fine without specific CEs.

There’s more on this list but these are ones I know off my head that I’m working towards.

Niche Examples:

Angra Mainyu [Dmg to BEAST class +100% Guts 1 time (Revives with 20% HP.] I’m working on this one since Beast classes have come up in several hard fights and I have a feeling that there’s a mega Beast in the game towards the end so better to start now. I’m 50/50 recommending it because this is more of a gut feeling on my part that there are bigger Beast bosses down the line.

Amakusa [Party Dmg to Undead & Demon +20% while on the field.]

Murasaki [Party Dmg against Demonic +20% while on the field.]

Custom to Servant Role Examples: Herc’s one of the best examples since it makes him better at his job. Most CEs are too generic so I’d pick and choose of your Servants what would be worth of the comps you use.

Georgios [Party Invincibility (1 atk) Party Dmg Taken -1000 (3 turns) when defeated] This one I highly recommend since it takes his tanking to the next level even after he dies.

Arash [Removes party’s debuffs and heals party +5000 HP when defeated.] This is more difficult fights. Useless when he’s farming but for challenges, this would be helpful in certain fights.

Tamamo OG [ Party Arts +15% while on the field. ] Generic but give she works for Arts comps exclusively, this is nice to have.

Waver [ Party Buster +15% while on the field. ] Again generic but buster farming so it’s nice to have. It pretty much functions as a continuous Ox-King CE but doesn’t hamper Waver’s ability or role.

Berserkers tend to have a very custom CE that works well for them but it’s a hunt and peck. 

My BB only had her max skill for the 1st and 2nd (3rd skill is only level 6). I do recommend at least level 6 for the important cooldown reduction. I mostly max skilled the heals for the amount of HP (comparable to Tamamo’s) plus the cooldown of four turns (with it operable for at least three turns, it’s a good deal) and the 2nd because that stun is chance-based. If you have to choose one just to level up as much as you are willing, I’d say the 1st because you need that debuff more than anything else, especially to keep BB alive to do her work. You don’t really need to remove an evasion or invincibility in that battle but you will be constantly debuffed.
