This whole Simspearls thing is eye opening tbh, I'm one of the patreon creators who participated and now I just realized I've spend hours creating a gift for a website that dislikes/is against me, which is very hipocritical coming from a website that has a thread where people can share stolen content from second life, but you guys still think you're better than us creators that work hard to create something original, figures...

HI! I came across your post in reply to reducing poly counts and I was wondering if there are any key words that can be searched to learn more? I came across a post about "dessimating meshes" (like, destroy the ridiculously high numbers in a good way to make the item usable) and tried Googling but couldn't find much and now I've lost that post. When I came across yours, I thought you might have some search terms you could recommend to learn more. Is it something that can be done as like a post processing thing or is it only during the creation process? (My experience with cc extends to trying to replace a flat photo from the game with a screenshot photo and tanking it...hard).

Honestly, if a n00b like me can reduce poly counts without destroying the quality of the mesh (source: my 18th Century Military Campaign Set) then these paywallers who are making thousands of USD a month can surely also do so. It's ridiculous!
