Has anyone ever noticed that whenever a character is of any race - other than white - no matter the physical description, some artists feel the need to make the stereotypical to the extreme? Like, if a character's native, but their description's non-stereotypical, artists basically turn them into caricatures. And these are the PC crowd of artists. It's weird, is all.

Listen, the thing about Anya is that on the surface, she’s a great character; human-turned-demon-turned-human who’s high-key obsessed with money and low-key loves humanity. Those are her good traits. Her bad traits are that she dislikes men and overreacts to a man cheating on his honey.
But, since fandom is so damn good at ignoring character traits, you’d think that they’d ignore the misandry and focus on everything else, right? Wrong.

To be fair, characters need flaws, but why the fuck is the fandom focusing on these?
For reference, every post (ballpark) is about how she hates men, and how amazing it is.
So I propose that the fandom stops being a bunch of misandristic dickheads and focus on the loveable, blunt woman that Anya is.
Moral of this slightly incomprehensible rant, don’t be a misandrist and stop putting those kinds of characters on pedestals.
