Mashirao typically is one of the more responsible students of class 1-A. He can be goofy like any other teenager, but he’s good at staying on top of things and working hard to get where he wants to be.
So for him to completely space on refilling the nighttime medication he takes to help himself sleep through the night is completely out of character. He’s more annoyed with himself than anything else, especially when he wakes up in the middle of the night and feels the urge to parkour across campus as fast as he possibly can.
He knows he won’t be getting back to sleep, so he gives in to that urge after an hour of staring at the ceiling. Except instead of running across campus, he decides to run around the common room downstairs instead. It’s the perfect obstacle course, letting him hop over tables and couches to get that restlessness out. He’s even able to vault under one of the tables as he hears the elevator ding, his tail curled around his ankles as he tries to stay hidden. Although, the light coming in from the windows no doubt reflects off his eyes and gives him that creepy glare cats often get in the dark.
Hanta was pretty used to waking up in the middle of the night and wandering around the dorms, occasionally running into fellow classmates who also couldn’t sleep.
He had eaten an edible before going down to the common room so he was feeling a pretty nice high by the time he walked out of the elevator, looking around to see if anyone else was down there tonight. He stops when he notices the eyeshine from under the table, chucking.
“Hey bro, I’ve got some killer munchies so I’m going to make some food you want anything?” He asks without really batting an eye, he had definitely seen weirder in the middle of the night in the common room.
