ANGER  BLEEDS  INTO  LOCKED  FEATURES.         what  started  as  sympathetic  gaze  has  melted ,  contorting  until  nothing  but  rage  can  be  seen.  there’s  a  tremble  in  her  shoulders.  twitching  at  the  tips  of  her  fingers.  this  is  the  part  where  she  almost  slips.      “  would  you  prefer  the  alternative   ..   ?  ”      wild  gesture  to  her  own  frame.       standing  in  short  stature  next  to  the  redhead  who  has  become  a  constant  companion.  but  she  no  longer  looks  to  her  with  softness.  or  blossoming  feelings  with  which  she  does  not  know  how  to  handle.  that  has  been  washed  away.      “  say  the  world ,  darling.  i’d  be  happy  to  turn  it  off  for  you.  ”

 patience  never  did  rest  well  across  her  features.  more  than  her  share  stolen  from  her  mother ,  who  already  possessed  a  low  supply  from  the  start.  still.  MOST  DAYS ,  she  kept  it  under  control.        a  sharp  tongue.        cracked  through  the  air  without  an  apology.  and  when  there  was  someone  on  the  other  end  who  pull  at  the  string  —  it  only  got  worse.  sigh  passed  between  pink  lips.  the  anger  rising.  and  when  she  allowed  herself  to  speak ,   she  could  hear  the  annoyance  that  rested  on  her  tongue.        ❛  she’s  gonna  smack  y’  if  you  keep  callin’  her  she.  ❜

frame  can’t  seem  to  drum  up  ancient  animosity.   it  had  once  dripped  into  the  air  thicker  than  blood.       wrapped  between  their  two  figures  and  threatened  to  drain  them  of  even  attempted  kindness.  that  had  seemed  a  life  ago  now.  when  eyes  fell  to  the  brunette  ,  a  familiar  warmth  did  fill  her  chest.  that  kind  that  always  did  when  she  thought  back  to  the  person  she’d  be  on  the  isle.         some  regret.       mostly  a  nostalgic  feeling  for  a  simpler  time.    “    you’ll  be  fine  without  me.    ”
