Has an alt ever had a completely different hair color for each role they covered? I know there must be practical reasons but it’s so funny to me that someone decides like ‘no you’re only blonde as Seymour. Parr must be brunette’
There hasn't been an alt with full on different hair colors for each role. Cruise casts had a lot of cases where one role had a different wig (generally blonde seymour) and most had wigs in different shades but the same color. Cruises dont generally make custom wigs unless necessary so most six wigs were sourced from their stock and adapted as necessary which means colors are not a perfect match. They also had a low key fixation with making casts look as close to the original broadway cast as possible so a lot of blonde seymour happened.
From what I remember the closest we had to three different colors was Ashlee Waldbauer from Bliss 3 who had a very bright copper wig for Boleyn, a strawberry blonde for Seymour and her own hair, darker auburn that looks brown when pulled (and gelled) back, as base for Howard with an almost entirely pink with what looks like brownish roots ponytail.
