yeah that DEFINITELY sounds more like hard drive stuff, hard drive stuff is ANNOYINGLY WEIRD sometimes and was like 80% of my problems with similar weird-ass crashes before I upgraded my comp when I thought it was everything from RAM to motherboard melting.
Ahhh it would be good if it were a hard drive problem, I’m sitting here watching HD Tune run hoping it will turn out to be a hard drive problem. If I have to ditch this big regular-sized 1TB budget HDD, I am going to replace it with one of those cool tiny SSD sticks that snap right onto the motherboard!

yeah I was gonna go back to her on Thurs anyway (the next day this week my doc works) because the area when I think my appendix is has been having these weird sharp spikes of pain lately. like I don’t have any other signs of appendicitis and I was already planning on visiting her again because I am finally Well (I did have influenza! can’t remember if I told you or not) and apparently she can hook me up with five free visits to a nutritionist

probably not it bc you said your computer crashes, but I just remembered I got a similar visual glitch the time my monitor’s circuitboard was like, melting. maybe helpful???
Well, the monitor goes dead......... shit, thanks, as soon as it happens again I’ll try power-cycling the monitor. I was listening to headphones through it and the audio started unspooling when it did it earlier.
I think the computer crashed classically at least once, yesterday, complete with HDD-failure OS glitches on the crash recovery screen, but I’ll still try it, because Who Knows, though my nice new monitor going up in smoke would be NEARLY as obnoxious as my card dying.
