Thanks, honey. Sorry it’s taken me a few days to respond.I thought the premise sounded pretty stupid, actually. I still have that opinion but I also think they handled some things both beautifully and realistically. I know I’m not in the minority in loving Amy. She was a breath of fresh air from the pilot and I loved her more and more each episode. She was so fucking loveable and funny, and just really candid with everything. It was great. She’s awesome. With Karma, I think I AM in the minority when I say I love her? I think she’s a great character and she works off Amy so well. Like, she has her flaws lol. But I mean, from a storytelling point of view, she wasn’t the devil because she liked Croquemdouche. Apparently in Hester High, 15 year old boys are the hottest of them all, so. I ship Karmy/Ashfeld, ngl, but it’s not like otp status. Yet. But that’s just because there were 8 episodes and I knew there was no chance in hell of them being together in S1. That’s not even me being pessimistic, haha. It just wouldn’t make much sense when the payoff would be so much better in, say, the S2 finale. You know? Like except for the Amy x Liam sex, I’d guessed ~the scene would happen like that with Karma and Amy. I thought that scene was beautifully done, by the way. Most of the finale was a frigging train wreck, tbf. Really, really rushed. Except for that scene, the dance (so cute, ugh), and the Amy x Lauren sister bonding. Fuck, that was almost everything I’d dreamed for them. Hoped and prayed for a moment like that, tbh. I haven’t had chance to watch the FI finale more than once yet (I got into Nikita), but LOL Liam being all ~wounded because he found out Karma lied to him. Um???? Not dating, none of your business. It’s been a few weeks, he needs to calm down. The ending. Holy fuckin shit. You know, thank God I was actually spoiled for that before I saw it. I was just wondering why I was spoiled and was trying to remember who did it, but duh, Canada did. But yeah, lol the Amy x Liam sex. Um. Okay, so I understood that awkward and contrived mess to be Amy and Liam both wanting a part of Karma that the other has. That’s the only explanation. At least in my opinion. I don’t expect S2 to be a love triangle at all. I expect it to open with Amy being fucking mortified at what she’s done, who she’s done, and how that’s going to affect Karma and their friendship. I think Amy had been built up with so much confidence from Shane over the season that Karma felt the same and when she heard that she didn’t, Amy just couldn’t deal with it. Cue alcohol and an awful decision! I knew Karma would sleep with Liam but I definitely did not expect Amy to sleep with him, though. Like ever. But I think it’s funny that Rita has a lot more chemistry with Gregg than Katie does. Not funny enough that Amy x Liam is my otp, haha, but yknow. Amy will sleep with a girl in S2. They’re not gonna have a shock scene of her sleeping with a guy after being Karma-eyed for a whole season and then nothing for S2. It’ll be a lady. Hopefully Karma lol. I mean, if Karma is into it by that point. Then whoever. Jasmine? Someone cute.

Thing I wouldn’t mind being proven wrong about: Karma and Amy not having a legitimate opportunity at being together and taking it.
