Ok, so I've been trying to tailor this shirt for like over a month now. As an exercise, I wanted to try to figure out how to do it, instead of looking up a tutorial (I was and still am prepared to lose this shirt). It's been a disaster and I don't think it could be going worse and I am having SO much fun. Here are chronological photos
^ This is the original fit, absolutely huge. I put a listing on Craigslist to find a roommate for the extra space I had in it
^ Shortened the length of the shirt (too much), brought in the sides, detached the sleeves, took them in, and then I reattached them. Again, I looked up literally no tutorial whatsoever. I'm sure this is the stupidest way to do it, and it has been a joy. Sleeves look hella weird.
^ Brought in the shoulders, sewed a sleeve on to test the fit. At this point, I was kinda blowing up on nookazon (two offers), and then I went to bed.
