Help me pick a new name :)
I think it's time to move on from the handle Inkd Eyes. Not that I don't like it anymore - but I'm not sure of it. I wanted to incorporate my father's language so I've picked some names in relation to me and words or phrases that I think might be nice then had friends pick which ones were the most readable to them or enjoyable. Here are the options.
(I know some may not be grammatically correct, or sound silly, but we're all a bit silly, aren't we? I most likely wouldn't use full phrases as they can get long)
What do you think?
Abina Kabii (Variant of the day name "Born on Thursday" , Word "Dark")
Abina (Variant of the day name "Born on Thursday)
Anadwo no Nkabyan (Phrase "The awakening of the night")
Daeɛ (Word "Dream")
Nkanyan (Word "Revival")
Ayawa (Variant of the day name "Born on Thursday)
Kabbi Daeɛ (Dark, Dream)
Sunsum (Word "Shadow")
Stay as InkdEyes <3
Other option (Full list of options under the read more, will take suggestions)
You can suggest names or put an "other" option in the tags too :)
A madman on a mission was what seemed to have taken over his body that day. One day he’d woken up know his father wanted him to continue flirting with people for the good of the family. The other day he was in an arranged marriage with somebody he didn’t feel like he knew enough of. Ashante had come into his life in a moment of inner discoveries and growth, so seeing somebody that seemed so well adjusted had been intimidating. Now he was on a mission to ask her out on a date, to at least get to know the person he could potentially marry.
“Ashante. Are you there?” he asked, knocking on the door softly. @ofashante
Constantin: I think Ashante’s been reading my diary.
Paige: How do you know?
Constantin: She corrected my spelling.
Ashante: [from the next room] SOMEONE HAD TO, GODDAMMIT.
welcome home, jalynn. you’ll be pulling the strings of the beautiful doll that is ashante from now on. some people say that she looks like sydney park but I don’t see the resemblance. the follow list will be updated shortly, for now you can find who to avoid here. unfortunately for you, you have no final message from dad.
note: just from seeing ashante’s mock blog i was confident that you understood this little doll completely. your application was extremely impressive and thorough about everything she is, was and has been and i think that’s pretty damn amazing. i know you will be a perfect addition to the dollhouse and i hope you feel the same!

Constantin had spent days trying to come for a plan to ask Ashante to the Summer Fest. It had almost felt like an eternity before he managed to find the courage to go up to her and ask her. Any other person and he could talk to them like normal, without saying something that got him a weird look or an eye roll. With Ashante, however, every conversation felt like a ramble and any interaction reminded him of a questioning room. He felt like he had to think things carefully, or end up facing the wrath of his father when he ultimately- and there would be one- fucked up.
Out of his league. That’s what he had told his father when he’d been faced with the news of this arranged marriage. Constantin was a simple man of simple pleasures, and simple desires. Ashante represented a whole new world he didn’t even think he could walk on, much less dive deep into it. He could still hear his father telling him that no one was out of the league of a Moreau, but he doubted that.
A business meeting to discuss the terms, or agreements about their parents plans for them. That’s how he had sold this date to Ashante, and she’d said yes. He’d dressed down for the occasion, but a part of him itched to be hidden behind the armor of his blazer and dress pants. “So, do you want to go pick some strawberries?” Constantin asked, unsure. @ofashante
