Hi everyone,

Hope you’ve all been well. Haven’t posted in a while except for a few likes and reblogs here and there. The last year, as it was for many, was a stressful one, and so I needed to take a break. However, during that time, I’ve also been working on a little surprise.

 As you know, I write very long essays, that people don’t have the time to read as much as they did previously. 

And so, I’ve decided to condense my old essays, and new ones and put them out in a video format. To that end, I’ve started a new YouTube channel, “AshAndInkLore.” 

The first episode of Ash & Ink Lore’s “Martian Queen: Dany’s Alien Legacy” is now live. This episodic series is the video version of my Daenerys: Invader from Mars essay. And even if you’ve read the essay series, you’ll want to watch the video episodes because I’ve discovered a lot of interesting additional details to support my thesis since I first wrote the series.

If you have a moment, please check out the first episode of the new series. I’m not providing the link because I want the YouTube algorithm to organically feed out the channel, so it finds its true audience.

But if you search Ash & Ink Lore or “Dragons, Martians & the Truth Behind House Targaryen” on YouTube, the video will come up.

Coming up will be the Secret Song of Florian and Jonquil, the Bran and Sansa comparative analysis and all the other essays I’ve written in the past plus some new ones that I have planned. 

And I’ll not just be covering ASOIAF. I’ll be discussing Interview with the Vampire, (have the first draft for that in the works), From (hopefully) and any other genre show, movie or book that strikes my fancy. I’ll especially be covering the type of stories that have deep background lore built into them.
