Dawn:
“I’ve never been particularly drawn to the color red. It’s fine, and I do not detest it, but it has not stood out to me. One of the few exceptions is the color of Dawn’s eyes. You can truly see her convictions and her will in there, and I am a bit envious that she is able to be so in touch with her heart. that it reflects so easily in those eyes.”
Avidia’s always been pretty closed off from her own heart. When she met someone as open about it as Dawn - from Avidia’s perspective - she couldn’t help but appreciate that. And those little moments when she can see all of Dawn’s willpower shining through her eyes really stand out to her the most.
Olivia:
“I remember seeing her asleep next to me, curled up into a ball so tight I thought she might have disappeared beneath her sheets. To think she could look so small and so vulnerable. It made me want to cradle her in my arms, but also ruin her at the same time, just to see what that would be like.”
Locke:
“His smile. I’ve only met him a couple times, but it makes me think of happy memories… those who I love in my life, and the love they’ve shown me. I don’t know how one man can convey all of that in a smile, but it would be off-putting if he weren’t so jovial about it.”
