Hi here’s a complaint abt a character I haven’t already whined about to you :) biodiversity or something
Miss Niki Nihachu DSMP suffers from the grand fandom female character delusion where everyone wants to write her as a strong female character and simultaneously wants her to be the kindest and softest and most morally upright. Canon Niki loves hard, feels deeply, and is as a result painfully angry due to repeated abandonment and losses. She carries that anger and the resulting paranoia inside her and lets it build and then lashes out, often at the wrong target. She’s recently made a new group of friends and is helping them achieve their goals bc she cares about them, but because the group she’s helping is the “bad guys” people are acting like she’s being written out of character (and complaining to her actual writer about it)

and yeah, people really do erase the way female characters can hurt the people around them, huh? like they're either villains in the way of the mlm ship or they're precious soft beans who are badass and never wrong. @ fandom please let female characters be shitty and mean and hotheaded and wrong, while still having good and lovable traits. it is good for them. #biodiversity. also good on her for joining up with the bad guys. i hope she has an angry breakdown at some point :D
