((Okay but let me talk a little bit under the cut
Okay, but---Kanan’s so done with being part of the Rebellion. He’s enjoying working with the Mandalorian’s--doing a side mission.
Kanan’s ready to settle down. He’s ready to hang up the blaster and lightsaber aleave the fighting to someone else. He’s been in war, and even in the short time he was in it. He knew the pain it brought. And at the end of the Clone Wars? Neither side won. What if that happens again? Last time a war ended he lost everyone and everything.
He’s scared, he doesn’t quite show it but he is. He shows it by asking Hera questions, clearly showing he’s ready to get out. But she’s not ready to pull out, she knows there’s still more to do. The Rebellion is still her life, but she is Kanan’s
Not to say Hera doesn’t deeply care for Kanan, because she DOES. She straong sense of duty, she’s been fighting for the Rebellion for so long.
Kanan’s devoted to Hera, completely and utterly devoted to her. But he knows his time with the Rebellion is coming to an end and he doesn’t know what to do.
