I’ve probably drafted this about five times now or more. I’ve noticed the steadily and sliding decline when it comes to this group. I’m a stubborn person and I don’t give up easily. However, I think what the game plan  for now is simple. I’m going to put the RP on hiatus for a week to revamp, regroup, figure out who is still around and who is not then mow on forward. 

If you want to remain in the group feel free to either message the main or let me know via Discord. It was a fun ride, and I have enjoyed writing with all of you. I honestly don’t have any ill will towards anyone who leaves or has left, as I understand. I understand muses die. I understand sometimes the words just don’t come. I want to thank you all for being a rather kind and patient group. I hope that you choose to stay.

Please just don’t forget to let me know by the 24th if you decide to still be a part of the group. I’ll be around for messages or direct messages. I will still hold applications for new members in the inbox, they just won’t be accepted until the 24th. 

Admin N will be departing for RL reasons and her obligations there. She was one of our founding admins. That being said, ASW will continue to be open. If any of our current members would be interested, we do have a gossip blog that needs to be polished up a bit. 

I’ll be around all day to answer any questions you might have! 

The Winter break has been concluded. Though as the students shuffle in they can’t help but notice that not everyone has returned from break. Classes start as normal as well as the meetings in the Great Hall.

Two students are noticeably missing from the Great Hall and their respective houses. The self proclaimed most beautiful student in Hogwarts - Gilderoy Lockhart is nowhere to be found. The other student marked missing is none other than Peter Pettigrew. The last correspondence reported from them in four days ago. Did they miss the train? Or is there something more vile afoot.

The aurors are tracking a strange sum of wizard wealth that appeared in possession of the Jones. Which prompted Gwenog & Hestia Jones to appear to class late. Oddly enough the only thing that accompanied the vault contents was a strange scribbled note. ‘Thanks for your patronage.  - G.’

Hello everyone! 

Below the cut is the current secret gift exchange to happen between characters and which name they drew. There are a couple of ways to do this:

1. Your character delivers the gift personally. This means the other character will inevitably know your character chose their name.

2. Have another character delivery it. This could be interesting, and you would still hold the anonymity.

3. You send the gift via OWL with a note unsigned. The character will never know who gave them the gift.v

4. Any other creative way you can think or have muse for!

Below are the ones chosen so far: For new applicants or characters we will draw random names on who will choose your character and who your character was given!

We know that RL gets hectic, especially at the time of the holidays, finals, & end of the year rushes. Due to this nature the next activity check will happen on December 29,2018. If you’re able to post and be around, please do.

This weekend will mark the Winter Break that will last for one week (12/15/18 - 12/22/18) Please message the main and let us know if your character will be staying at Hogwarts over the holiday or if they will be going home. Also, message us what your character believes are (Do they celebrate? Hannukah? Christmas? Kwanzaa? A mixture?) Students that stay at Hogwarts won’t be confound to Hogwarts and will be able to wander off to Hogsmeade as long as they’re accompanied with a partner. There’s a teacher stationed in Hogsmeade to keep their eyes on the students from afar. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
