Bad end AU Macaque does not have a daughter, and if he had, he wouldn't have sacrificed himself and stayed.

The place is a mess to say the least. After the death of the 10 kings, the celestial realm was supposed to organize and take care of the place until a solution was found, but the affair was left unattended for long enough due the season 5 shenanigans. Think of it likeβ¦a prison riot
Macaque is basically a judge and head of administration of Diyu. Every lifeβs work is assessed, his table is covered with ledgers and papers that document the karma of every soul. He decides whenever the soul goes to instant reincarnation (to a good life) or have to work through redeeming themselves (which is something he proposes instead of the torture)
Not every soul can be redeemed, but they at least try
As for Wukong and MK, letβs just say they donβt stay put, and crΓ©ate a lot of trouble in their way ;)
