After a slowdown this year in communications, #ArtsinHD is meeting Wednesday at 5:30 pm 2512 Wylie Ave, Pgh 15219 and the main focus will be to: (a) give an update on Nafasi, (live work space incl 5 apartments for cultural workers/artists) which we are really hoping will be that there is a signed lease between the Hill CDC and Joshua Pollard and then plans to proceed. Folks are working hard to make this happen, so fingers crossed. We'll also get an update on MOKA and one thing they are looking for is volunteers. This is a good day as the August Wilson House ground breaking is also this day, so we can talk about this too. Shouts to all working to get the House renovated and congrats on the support from Mr. Denzel Washington! The overall goal of #ArtsinHD is, in support of the Hill District Master Plan, to mark the Hill as a Black cultural space.
