Could I request some angsty Jellal? He’s my favorite character and I absolutely adore your blog and art!! ❤️❤️ Thank you so much!
When you go would you have the guts to say“I don’t love youLike I loved youYesterday” - I dont love you, MCR
Angsty in my head = sad eyes so I hope this still fits the bill!
Do you like jerza?
Not anymore. Fandom (and 545) ruined it for me.
Gajeel: I know I’m not the best at expressing things like this, but you’re adorable Levy.
Levy: Being called cute and adorable is starting to sound like an insult.. being short and all.

Water Queen...
Hey! I'm a notsogreat traditional artist, eager for tips. I'm trying to stray away from using references along with my own improvisation, but I can't seem to get far on my own. Any tips? And how do you do anatomy and expressions of a character? Ahh sorry for so many questions, I love your art! >.<
Hiya! No worries about the questions, I’m more than happy to help! Anyways..There’s nothing wrong with using references! I actually use references on a daily basis. Especially so when it comes to drawing hands, perspectives, and other difficult to draw subjects. If you’d really like to drop the references, then I suggest you to improve your visual library by seeing things objectively. Analyzing how and why it does things. Breaking them down into simpler objects/shapes. During my internship years back, my mentor constantly had me draw an object (say, an action figure) broken down into simpler shapes, then drawn in various perspectives without moving around the said object as reference. I had to think in 3D. And this in turn helped me to see things more objectively as well as understand why this does that. Having a better understanding of how things work will help you.As for anatomy… well, I had anatomy classes back when I was in college and our professor (as well as my internship mentor) just had us draw the whole Figure Drawing For All It’s Worth book by Andrew Loomis back to back. Daily. Without any explanations. For a whole year. Then after that, said professor had us attend life drawing sessions too. You know, those sessions where someone poses in the nude and you had to draw them within x seconds/minutes. Again, with no explanations. I highly suggest getting the book! Most books written by Andrew Loomis are good reads! And as for expressions, I actually don’t draw a whole load of expressions myself hnn. I need to work on that too. But I’d suggest these tips~
Anyways, these are the tips I can suggest from the top of my head. I hope this helps you as well as everyone else! I’m pretty bad at explaining stuff but I hope you get the gist of it. And always remember to keep practicing! Heck when I first started drawing seriously, I wasn’t anywhere near how I draw now. But the practice I did (as well as the suffering I endured) were all worth it in the end. But I’m not ending my practicing here. I still want to improve after all!also I could show you all pictures of my old stuff if you want, they’re all cringe-inducing tho.
happy birthday to the most wonderful person ever ❤️❤️ you deserve tons of love and best wishes always, have a blast today!! 🎈 🎈
thank you so very much!
