My heart really goes out to T. With all the depth given to their character, they feel like a white rabbit or a caged bird. The moment they start piecing together crucial information about what their father is plotting with their betrothed, their memory is automatically reset. In many ways, T is a puppet, forced to dance to their father’s tune. But oh well—let’s mind our own business.

Giving a quick look throught the tumblr and holy shit the emperor gives me the creeps, the whole royal family does but that guy is a unhinged crazy bastard, which birthed a thought of mine, yesenia is still using lady anaya appearance right? and this time around she's marrying trysten/trista instead of the original host, so does that means she will be "serving" in the Royal chambers and we will have one less target on our backs? I actually received the complete version of your ask, but I think I’ll answer the separate ones — because why not? I’ll keep the full version as a little monument in my ask box, something to revisit whenever I wish. I know, I’m weird 🤧. Anyway, let’s get into it.

Yes, she is. Taking the pill to change her appearance was, of course, the brilliant plan of Isuara and Ragriel. What a pity that Ragriel doesn’t even know the child he’s holding in the palm of his hands isn’t his own — and that this same child is taking another brand of pill that mimics his DNA and appearance. So Yesenia and Isuara are playing both sides.

Yes, this is confusing, but you have to remember: in the real timeline, Yesenia lived to be 90 years old, and her biological father appeared during that time. In that timeline, the original host was the protagonist of the world, the one who carried the fate of the Phoenix and would unite the four lands.

In the fake timeline, however, Yesenia is a higher-ranking Phasron who carries the destiny of the Phoenix. She is said to be the one who will bring the four lands back together and defeat the Mad King (Cadmus). Meanwhile, the original host becomes merely a stepping stone for her—and is destined to be sent to the Emperor’s backyard as one of his many collections.

Even though Yesenia resembles the Emperor’s first love, Lady Anaya, he’s one of the few who can see through the illusions created by the pills she takes. Still, she has her uses — so why shouldn’t he play along? 💁‍♀️

The Emperor doesn’t show it outwardly, especially when the MC made jokes about being called “Imperial Parent” by Yesenia and T. But that night, in the privacy of his backyard, he gave in to his darker urges, with a concubine who bore a faint resemblance to Lady Anaya — no more than 50% — he was a beast. He spilled his seed twenty times, each time lost in the fantasy that it was Anaya whispering those words in his ear.

To summarize: the Emperor will never be interested in Yesenia. Even after she becomes bonded to T, Yesenia will remain a thorn in the MC’s side. After all, T seems to think only of the MC these days — and can’t understand why their own feelings toward them have changed so drastically.

Once upon a time, the MC avoided connection, hated interacting with others. So why now do they allow N, S, C, and even Instructor Levesque to draw close?

T doesn’t understand. They don’t have time to think about Yesenia — not when their thoughts are so consumed by the MC.

To be honest, the reason I gave the MC Shadow Manifestation instead of Necromancy is because Isolde wields a similar, but far more dangerous ability called Deadmarch Command.

While Lady Anaya once possessed an ability that allowed her to temporarily control a Phasron, Isolde can resurrect powerful figures from the past—those who once reached the unattainable SSS+ Rank Levels. And if I’m being open with you, anon, the Emperor has an entire hidden estate filled with coffins. The Carnivorous Creatures that were chasing T on the day Lady Anaya died—they weren’t from the Forbidden Forest—they came from the heart of Nasmar, controlled by Isolde.

Artilius is an ambitious man. He would stop at nothing to hold the world in the palm of his hand. To him, love is just a myth. Still, being the first man to introduce Lady Anaya to the pleasures of sex gave him a sense of satisfaction at the time.

So, anon—if you're wondering why—the answer is simple. Ambition.

Now for your third question — Ragriel lived a fulfilling life in the original timeline, but in the fake one, shortly after the original host dies, Ragriel is the next to go. Because if we’re looking at things from a logical point of view — Isuara doesn’t love Ragriel. She never has.

I think in Chapter 4 we’ll take a deeper dive into the history of the Carnivorous Creatures, and you’ll gain a better understanding of what — or who — Yesenia’s biological father truly is... Oh, and let’s not forget how the fog came to be.

Artilius is the Emperor, yes—T’s and Drusilla’s father, and also Isolde the Empress’s husband.

From what I know of these two characters, I wouldn’t say Isolde hates Lady Anaya or even has a negative opinion of her. But when someone has a specific agenda and is building a foundation rooted in lies and betrayal, it’s inevitable that someone might end up in the wrong place at the wrong time and disrupt the plan. Most of Isolde’s dislike, then, stems from this. Imagine carefully plotting your revenge against someone who thinks you’re just a pawn—and then one innocent soul, Lady Anaya, comes along and ruins everything.
