A Celebration of Community and Art, Soup ’N’ Bowl Returns Feb. 6 at St. George Museum of Art "The St. George Museum of Art invites the community to gather for its 18th annual Soup ’N’ Bowl fundraiser on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 11 AM to 1 PM. A long-standing tradition in Southern Utah, Soup ’N’ Bowl blends food, art, and live music in support of the museum’s mission to promote and sustain the arts in St. George. Held at the St. George Museum of Art and the adjoining Social Hall, the event offers attendees a warm and welcoming midday experience. Guests enjoy a delicious lunch served in a handcrafted ceramic bowl of their choice, paired with live music and the opportunity to explore the museum’s galleries...."

My tried and true eldster, @generik_art is a true blessing in my life. We have many interests in common and he doesn't mind hanging out with his old mum! Over the weekend, my eldster, Erik Rutterford partipated in a fundraising exhibition event, 'With Ukraine', at the WWW (Worldly Wicked Wise) Gallery in Queen's Park. I went along for the closing event on the Sunday, which was great fun. Got to see Erik's and many other's fabulous art on the walls, see old colleagues, Zoe Landau Konson who organised it with Marta Pieregonczuk, and also Helena Carrizosa who was an exhibitor. It was a wonderful reunion after many years. Of course, I met some nice new people too!
