Upcycle Your T-shirts / Recicla Tus Camisetas at Tshirt Fest

Cal State Los Angeles students under the advisement of Carole Frances Lung (Faculty) and Haydee Jimenez (Nett Nett) considered the t-shirt supply chain globally and between Los Angeles and Tijuana. Working in groups of two the students created posters, videos and samples for presentation at T-shirt Fest. Participants will be able to collect instructional pages which can be collected into a zine, and participant in projects that engage in a cross-border dialog about t-shirts and their economic and environmental impact.

Los estudiantes de Cal State Los Angeles bajo la asesoría de Carole Frances Lung (Facultad) y Haydeé Jiménez consideraron la cadena de suministro de camisetas a nivel mundial y entre Los Ángeles y Tijuana. Trabajando en grupos de dos, los estudiantes crearon carteles, videos y muestras para su presentación en T-shirt Fest. Los participantes podrán recopilar páginas instructivas que se pueden recopilar en un zine y participar en proyectos que participan en un diálogo transfronterizo sobre camisetas y su impacto económico y ambiental.
