A Digital Illustrators Thoughts
As a digital artist, I just wanted to offer some word of advice when it comes to beginning your artwork. Don’t overthink your illustration design. It’s a good idea to have a guide as to what your going to draw, but don’t plan too long because you only have a limited amount of time to create your work. Every art project you work will always have a deadline. It is up to the artist to decide how they want to use that time. Most of the illustration classmates I worked with at Cal State Fullerton all agree with me on this. All I can say is that if you over plan your work, it will come out dull most of the time because you did not develop it as much as you should have. Generate ideas as quickly as you can and just go for it.
