Implement these tips to enhance your coursework.
Plan Like a Pro
If you plan well before start writing your coursework, half the battle is won. The reason is that you will always know what is the next task that you have to work on.
Research Like a Scholar
Without relevant data your coursework will lose its credibility, as it will merely be an individualโs opinion that you will be presenting. So gather data from various sources.
Write Like a Writer
The first task is to contemplate the information that has been gathered through research. Through this, you will be able to identify what information has to be put under which structure of the coursework.
Add Extra Bits Like a Painter
Add relevant graphs, creative flowcharts, important infographics, meaningful pictures, and other useful information that is not in text format.
Do Last Checks Like a Reader
Wondering why to check like a reader? Well, no one identifies the mistakes in a document as precisely as a reader.

GCSE ART EXAM WORK
Just a few pieces from my GCSE Art exam folder.
For the final piece of my exam I decided I wanted to create a piece of key art for a film I had written, which follows the stories of 9 evacuees in WW4 trapped in no manโs land. The above images are a selection of the pieces which lead me to the creation of my final piece.
After researching into the evolution of key art, and analysing artist such as Reynold Brown, I chose to try to replicate the aesthetics of pre-1960s sci-fi key art, which saw the use of vivid contrasting colours, a focus on one or more lead characters, and often were accompanied by a background which foreshadowed a main event or theme within the film. At this point I also decided to instead produce a character poster, featuring one of my films main characters, from which other character posters could be derived.
Once I had decided this I started to explore how key elements of the film and character could be portrayed through different mediums. These elements included the characters prominent accessories: a pair of goggles, and a crayon which would be shot at during the film, his pet meerkat which he acquires in the desert, and the desert landscape which provides the backdrop of the film.
Eventually I chose to use acrylic on canvas board for my final piece; despite the exam being the first time I have ever actually used acrylic - You see how my technique improves throughout the sky segment.
As we only had limited time in the exam, and I was overly ambitious in what could be done in that time, I was unable to finish the piece, and hence the character remains quite obviously incomplete.
GCSE ART COURSEWORK
This is a small selection of work from my GCSE Art coursework.
In this folder we had set topics to explore, and then were able to do a Pop Art study on a celebrity of our choice, so the themes do seem a bit unrelated and random.
We started with natural forms, looking at vegetables and sea life, then created a pot inspired by Art Nouveau, and finally explored architectural details before moving on to our Pop Art project.
Inspired by Warholโs Marilyn Diptych I decided to depict the life and death of Heath Ledger, and chose to do so by creating a piece which looked through the eyes of his fans, focusing on the characters he played on the screen; but rather than his personalities portraying the life of the characters, the characters portray him. ย
To show this immortal representation of his life and death, captured in film, I originally intended to include three clay figures of his most noticeable and last movie characters in a box lined with mirrors, creating an infinite recursion of the figures, only visible through a small hole in the side of the box, framed by a proscenium. The shape detailing of the figures was to be as realistic as possible (given the time scale and lack of experience I had with clay), however the colouration would be inspired by the Pop Art style and be rather vague, with only one facial feature highlighted per figure.
Despite my intended designs I ran out of time and could not complete my final piece as planned, hence the figures remain unfinished and unpainted.
