Praying through Advent with Art - Day One. I am using the book Sacred Reading for Advent and Christmas 2016-2017 from The Apostleship of Prayer and working in a beautiful booklet that I bought a artisan fair from local artist @machellekolbo. It is her Dwell Deeply -quiet time journal and can be found in her Etsy shop. it works perfectly with how the Advent book is set up - today's truth, take away, application, thankful for, prayer requests ( these are the sections in the journal and very similar to how the book focuses on each days reading. I am choosing a verse each day from that days reading and will be adding a collage in the notes/doodles area in the journal. Magazine image was altered with some NeoColor II's and a watch face. I would love for you to join me on this journey through Advent with the tag #PrayingAdventWithArt and I will be working daily on this until Epiphany. This is open to you all of course No matter your religious preference or lack of it.
