By the end of the year, I wasn’t really at my prime, and below I’ll explain why.
Autumn blues that completely knocked me down. For the last two or three months, I wasn’t able to draw at all. The most I could squeeze out of myself were references of my own characters — characters I still haven’t had the chance to properly tell you about.
The situation in my country overall. When you don’t have electricity for up to 16 hours a day… it’s depressing.
I’ve been trying to devote more of myself to studying, so there isn’t that much time left for creativity.
But… in terms of drawing, this year wasn’t bad. There is real progress, and that makes me happy. I can’t promise that I’ll draw more starting next year. There might not be any drawings at all, because in May I’ll have my graduation exams, and after that — oh horror — I’ll have to get a job and start earning money to live.
But overall, things aren’t that bad.

Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers - Vert Wheeler Profile Picture Fan-Art (March 2025)
Hello there everyone and welcome to my Tumblr account! I apologize for having been absent from posting for a rather long time, but I’m finally returning with a new fan-art drawing for my favorite movie series, “Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers”. I know it may be a bit cliche, but Vert Wheeler is one of my favorite characters from the series and he’s extremely entertaining to draw. I’ve been using the same profile picture for my art social media accounts for a rather long time now and I wanted to update it to incorporate one of my favorite interests. I hope to continue making more “Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers” fan-art in the future, for anyone who may be interested in seeing more from me. I usually stick to drawing portraits/headshots (mainly from a front-facing view), but I wanted to branch out a little bit and try drawing something more dynamic. I’m still not confident in my ability to draw anatomy properly, so I haven’t drawn any semi-body or full-body drawings, but this art piece was a step in the right direction. The majority of the sketch was easy enough to draw, but I did struggle with drawing Vert’s hair from this particular angle. I actually used a 3D modeling app called “Nomad” on my new iPad to better arrange the major hair pieces to fit the angle of my drawing. While there are some areas I need to improve on, I’m pretty proud with how this fan-art drawing turned out!
