Final proj
So the final project form took a series of interesting twists.
The first being due to time and equipment constrains we decided to downsize the experiments from 3 different ones to just one in a series of 2 flip-books.
We want the theme of failure to run through it, but also for a large cloud of ambiguity and human curiosity to also be a large benefactor.
Ambiguity can also be seen via the simple numbers on the front of the booklets with no further explanation.
The social experiment aspect of the flip-books encourages people to gain inside into what the artwork is, playing on people’s ability to be bold in a group setting. Thus, making the experiment an experiment in itself.
Overall I am happy with the two flip-books. The offer ideas of movement, transition, a climax, anticipation and sense of tension.
The final tumblr explanation can be found on Sabrina’s wall.
