Art by me, @colleyuriko. My problem is... Have I seen this before, or have I wanted to draw this for so long I feel like I’ve seen this fanart before!? I don’t even know where the idea came from anymore, was it canon?

If somebody does know if they have also seen this before please let me know OTL. If I’ve copied you’re idea I’m sorry!! This was so vivid in my head... ?

Basically Daryun and Narsus as children are being told off for mocking the Snake King Zahak, which can only bring bad luck, I figure.

Parsmas 2020 - Day 4: Winter Activities

Title: Winter Reconnaissance

Art by me, @colleyuriko. Shout out to Bob Ross’ ‘Arctic Winter Day’ Tutorial. I was tempted to put Jimsa in something out of Oyotomegatari (by Kaoru Mori) because I loved the chapters on how the Halgal family prepare for winter, but I also didn’t just want to draw Turkic clothes on without looking some things up, because there are so many different regions. 

Turan seems to be at least where Turkmenistan is and I wanted some nice thick winter clothes for Jimsa, so he’s wearing a Postın. It looks so warm with all the fur on the inside.

Parsmas 2020 - Day 6: Visitors

Art by me, @colleyuriko. I wish Salima showed up more, I bet she would bring some juicy digs at Rajendra. Also, everyone should talk to Nasran. I bet Kishward likes to mumble his complaints to her. Tahamineh should get to hang out with her. The real letters to fear in Peshawar are the ones Nasran sends out, that’s my headcanon.

I had to finish this one early, I was running out of time, otherwise I think I would have given Salima more jewellery...
