A bit of context before you get in here:
I quit my DND campaign recently. I know it’s hell on the DM but he’s terrible at storytelling, doesn’t act on criticism (though he asks for it all the time), and uses the same incoherent voice for all of his NPC’s and claims otherwise.
My character is Thaeron. Wulzire is the NPC Thaeron set out to capture for terrorizing his little town, Drun. Drun is a series of tunnels hidden under a mountain that acts as a sanctuary for vagabonds, thieves, murderers, and criminals to find a new and peaceful life. I lovingly created this backstory for my first ever DND character and my backstory had already come to a close. Thaeron discovered that Wulzire had been captured in Drun, and I took the chance to retire my character in this campaign.
This is my DM consulting me on how to close off my character that is “consistent with the story.” It’s under the cut because it’s very long, but let me tell you that this man is out of his damn mind.
