In honor of Arrow's series finale, "Fadeout," co-creator Marc Guggenheim looks back on the show's legacy and picks his top 20 (ish) episodes from Arrow's eight-season run on The CW.
It’s always fun for me to read Marc’s perspective on the show. I don’t agree with all his picks, but a lot of them I do.
"It just, for me, it felt so right," said Marc Guggenheim
Less than 24 hours until Arrow signs off the air... FOREVER. It’s been a ride guys. The previews for the finale are positive!
We had a chance to sit down with Kat McNamara and discuss Arrow season 8, episode 5, Mia's future, and her relationship with Oliver!
Another great interview with Kat McNamara. Damn this girl knows how to do press.
Arrow has huge plans for its farewell run… though series star Stephen Amell may be a bit hesitant to admit it.
Two more weeks until the last Arrow premiere. Nothing too new or exciting. They keep sending Stephen out to say the same stuff over and over. Jeez. Let a man live. He does try to clear up the confusion regarding when he decided he was done with Arrow, when he resigned for 10 eps, and how that related to Emily’s decision. Are we confused though? I don’t think we are. Anyways... kill five minutes if you so desire and enjoy.

Showrunner Beth Schwartz offers an early glimpse into the final episode of the series. Plus, an exclusive new photo from the premiere!
Yes they had to fix the article because facts are facts.
I’m always down for nostalgia and it sounds like the final ten will be chalk full of it. I am genuinely looking forward to seeing Moira, Tommy, Merlyn Adrian Chase, etc again.
Plus, don't miss a special appearance from 'Supernatural's Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins!
This is such a lovely interview with David and Stephen. I love that this is one of Stephen’s favorite scenes because it sure as hell is one of mine!
'ARROW' Roundtable | Stephen Amell by Rama's Screen
My girl Araceli was reporting for Just About Write and managed to get some scoop from Marc Guggenheim that surprised even Stephen Amell! (at 4 minute mark)
Araceli: Marc did confirm to this to us that at some point you will be working with Kat.
SA: Is that true? Did he say that?
Araceli: He said quote, “It would not be ideal if we didn’t find a way to get Stephen and Kat together in a room.”
SA: Well we’re all under contract. (This cracked me up!)
So yes my friends! Oliver and Mia will be meeting at some point. And probably William and Oliver too. As I always say, Arrow’s not remotely subtle foreshadowing always pays off.
Other fun tidbits:
“It’s still the Arrowverse. We’re not going away. We’re just ending our run... What are you gonna do? Are you gonna call it the Flashverse? That would be stupid.”
“Aside from Emily and David, he [Grant] is my favorite person to work with. There’s something about what he does as Barry Allen that brings out a part of Oliver Queen that doesn’t exist when I’m not hangin’ with him. Don’t tell him I said that. Did you record that? Shit.”
“I don’t like doing the show without Emily. It’s like trying to type without your pinky... I don’t like doing the show without Emily. Arrow ended in 7x22. The show is done. Right? Arrow the final season is like an event series so to speak. Imagine we ended in 7x22 and then we took an eight year break and then came back for ten episodes. That’s what this season is like. It’s tough being there and doing what we do without her because she’s the best, but I also think we’re gonna make do. ”
