Usually I don’t write anything after watching the episode but today is not my usual day.
I see a lot of people who are angry at Oliver. And I genuilly don’t understand why. He promised and keeps his word. All these talks about “tell Felicity, Samantha won’t know” are childish. I would be dissappointed in Oliver if he did so.
And Samantha is not a monster. She has every right to want to protect her son and right now she doesn’t trust Oliver. She knows his past, she thinks that he changed but she didn’t have a chance to see it yet. She can’t do anything because he knows already and she does right allowing Oliver to see his son. But she can at least try to protect the boy from anything that can come with Oliver. I just think that she needs some time to begin trust him and than she will be more at ease with his wish to tell Felicity about William. I think that is how every single mom would do.
It is not a beautiful situation. It will come out probably unexpectedly and it will have its consequences. But I am not afraid that they won’t be able to handle it. I don’t know why, I am just sure somehow. Well, we’ll see.
