happy aro week ! here is my personal contribution, this has been spinning around in my head for weeks and it describes me perfectly. what if i was aro but what if i wasn't if you see me identify as aro yes i did because no i didn't
for aro week im going to ramble about my aromantism!! woo!! (this is kinda just me taking note of my own thoughts lol)
so, here are the labels i use and why i use them
arospec: self explanatory really, i am on the aro spectrum
aroflux: the intensity of my (romantic, i think) attraction fluctuates often, though it stays within the range of little to none. sometimes i identify with other labels temporarily when it fluctuates.
quioromantic: like i said, i only think that the attraction i feel fluctuating is romantic- i don't actually know for sure because the whole concept of romance and love confuses me, im not sure i even understand what it is at all, i just know i feel something sometimes, but it's not as intense as others describe, so i can't make out what it is.
aroweird: similar reasons to quioromantic but i just think this label is more fun and descriptive.
aroace: just like anyone, aro people can also be asexual. i personally cannot separate my aromantism from my asexuality- i feel that my asexuality is a part of my aromantism, they are two very connected things in my own experience. you cant know im aromantic without knowing im aroace!

uugh i try to lookup non-partnering aro stuff and i just get flooded with a bunch of "aros can have partners too!!!" like thats absolutely true and all but. it really seems like when we dont feel anything at all, not even a little bit of something, all those ppl going "aros are valid!!!" run and away and hide.
