SOOO TRUE and he's not belittling or derisive about it in the slightest even tho its usually very typical of lance to jump at the opportunity to make fun of keith; instead he's just genuinely trying to explain it to him, like "no no, the cheer includes the instructions" and then when keith still doesn't seem to understand he doesn't take the opportunity to make fun of him, and instead tells him "we'll work on it." note the use of WE instead of something directed solely at keith because it shows that he's willing to help keith with this sort of stuff!!

and also note how lance doesn't push it or get annoyed and lets them move past it, which i do like, because based on what keith said during his paladin vlog - "i still don't understand why i wouldn't just say voltron [...] one person says it, right? done! [...] and then the chant is over, it doesn't have to be complicated!" - keith struggled more with comprehending why they were doing the stupid chant in the first place rather than the chant itself, and it might have been significantly frustrating for him not to be able to articulate himself.

and i strongly believe that this consideration is partially influenced by some of lance's own struggles with understanding things and articulating himself and such, which we see a few times - recall, for example, in the first episode where he fails to register the insult/sarcasm in keith's "we could toss out some nonessential weight" until after a few seconds of actually looking around for something to toss out, or in his "man, ten thousand years? that's, like, a thousand plus ten".

this is so cute 🥺🥺🥺 keith has always loved lance's hands, his long slender fingers, so soft yet with slight callouses from both using his sniper and playing his guitar. whenever they're together and holding hands, keith will often absent mindedly press kisses to the back of his boyfriend's hand every so often. or after keith does something reckless in battle, lance will cup his face gently and keith will cover his hand with his own, turn his face into lance's palm and press a kiss to the centre of it, reminding him that they're here, that they're together.
