I’m aromantic (hence the aro part in the username). I don’t feel romantic attraction. I’m repulsed by the idea of having crushes, of people having crushes on me, etc. Most romances now a days in books,movies,tv shows are very one-dimensional and poorly written and unoriginal (hence why most, not all, but most of my ships aren’t canon). Shipping is something fun to do. I’m also distant from it. It’s something outside of what I experience in my every day life. They’re fictional characters. My bio is a running joke between me and my friends.
There is nothing I want more in this world than a canon aromantic character. I mean, they flat out said "I'm aromantic." And they don't get "fixed" or suddenly fall in love with someone. I want a straight up aro character.
