Song: Think About Me

These are my headcanons for the pair:

• Twyla would enter Armin's mind when he's having nightmares about eating Berholdt.

• Armin would give her a spot to hide and put on headphones when he's about to transform.

• After transforming, he immediately runs to where she's hiding and comforts her. (He also gently holds her and kisses her forehead :0)

• The loud noises from Armin's transformation don't get any easier for Twyla. :(

• They read books together for fun and borrow each other's book all of the time.

Twyla reads to Armin while his limbs regenerate.

• History is both of their favorite subject.

• Twyla hides in the shadows when his friends come by. (It frustrates Armin because none of his friends believe him when he says he's in a relationship!)

• After Armin became a titan, Twyla gained enough courage to finally meet Eren and Mikasa (don't worry, she met everyone else later :) ).

• Twyla brings Armin into the monster world and reassures every monster that he's a titan and not a danger (I mean she did manifest it, so it wasn't shocking when he did become one lol).

• They first met when all of the village kids were temporarily living in a shelter after titans destroyed Wall Maria.

• Armin is the one who gave her her bracelet.

• They play DnD every week.

Lore from the early days of AOT (before joining the Survey Corps)

• Twyla was trying to get rid of every kid's nightmare but got so overwhelmed that she forgot to turn invisible and ran away. She accidentally bumped into Armin.

• Armin was on his way to his sleeping bag (he was reading in a study late at night) when she bumped into him.

• He dropped his books, and when a few kids started waking up, he grabbed her arm and ran into a hallway with her.

• Twyla was more afraid of him than he was of her (of course, those feelings went away once they started talking).

• After the first encounter, Twyla began visiting Armin on a regular basis to comfort him while he was adjusting to his new life in the Survey Corps.

Lore from the 4 year time skip

• After Armin gets released from prison, he recommends Twyla stay in the monster world until everything gets sorted out in the human world.

• He sends letters to her. She sends sweet dreams to him before and during The Rumbling.

• After The Rumbling ends, they reunite and pick up where they left off.
